Assistant Referee, Beatrice Thaud will be denied the opportunity of officiating in the next four weeks following a four-match ban imposed on her by the Ghana Football Association, (GFA).
The Executive Committee of the Association on Monday, approved the Match Review Panel’s recommendation to suspend Thaud for what it described as her role in a week-five league fixture involving WA All Stars and Tema Youth.
Thaud who acted as the Assistant Referee One in the said game, according to the Panel allowed a bad goal against Wa All Stars to stand.
The Assistant Referee, according to the Review Panel admitted her error at the hearing, citing improper positioning at the time.
The suspension is effective this Wednesday, when all eight centers get busy with mid-week action.
