The Northern and Zongo Concerned Youth Association of Ghana has called on government and all political parties to frame beneficial policies for Muslim communities.
It says they should include in their manifestoes policies and developmental initiatives on ways to improve the lives of Muslim communities.
The group in a statement noted that gradually the Zongo Youth are shunning electoral violence and pledging to continue seeking higher education and skills .
Osman Guarantee, Public Relations Officer of the Northerners and Zongo Concerned Youth Association of Ghana told XYZ News that employers who sideline very qualified muslims and sometimes treat them negatively must desist from it.
He said the Muslim youth play a significant role in the socioeconomic development of the nation and must be allowed to show what they can offer the nation.
