Members of the Government and Hospital Pharmacists Association (GHOSPA) have called off their two-month-old strike.
The Office of the former Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama on Wednesday denied reports that the former Vice President was rushed to the hospital on November, 6th 2012.
It said: “We would like to inform the general public that, His Excellency is fine by God’s grace and currently doing very well”. This was contained in a statement to the Ghana News Agency in Accra signed by Mr. Samuel Kwadwo Frimpong, a special aide to the former Vice President.
“We would want to advice all Ghanaians to ignore any speculation in that regard.
“The family would like to state on record that, Alhaji Aliu Mahama went to hospital on Saturday 3rd November himself and was not rushed to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on the 6th November as some media houses reported.
